1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DentCare.pk ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Elixirnet (Private) Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

DentCare.pk is a dental telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed dentists in Pakistan. Our services include:

• Video and chat consultations with verified dentists
• Appointment scheduling and management
• Digital prescriptions
• Secure messaging between patients and dentists
• Payment processing for consultation fees

Important: Our platform facilitates telemedicine consultations and should not replace in-person dental care for emergencies or procedures requiring physical examination.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use our services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Types

• Patient Accounts: Free to register. Patients can search for dentists, book appointments, and access consultations.
• Dentist Accounts: Require verification of credentials, PMC registration, and a one-time registration fee of Rs. 5,000.

4. Dentist Verification

All dentists on our platform must:

• Hold a valid dental degree from a recognized institution
• Be registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC)
• Submit verified credentials and certificates
• Pay the one-time registration fee
• Pass our verification and approval process

We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any dentist account that does not meet our standards or violates these Terms.

5. Appointments & Payments

5.1 Booking

Patients can book appointments based on dentist availability. All appointments are subject to confirmation by the dentist.

5.2 Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are set by individual dentists and displayed before booking. Payment is processed through JazzCash or Easypaisa. A platform service fee of 15% is deducted from each consultation.

5.3 Payment Terms

• Payment is required at the time of booking
• All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR)
• Platform fees are non-refundable

6. Cancellation Policy

Appointments may be cancelled under the following conditions:

• By Patient: Free cancellation up to 2 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations may forfeit the consultation fee.
• By Dentist: Dentists may cancel with a valid reason. Patients will receive a full refund.
• No-Show: If a patient does not appear for the consultation, the fee is non-refundable.

7. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Interfere with the platform's operation
• Use the platform to seek controlled substances illegally
• Share inappropriate content during consultations

8. Medical Disclaimer

DentCare.pk is a telehealth platform and does NOT provide medical advice directly. All medical advice, diagnoses, and prescriptions are provided by independent healthcare professionals using our platform. In case of a dental emergency, please visit your nearest hospital or dental clinic immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elixirnet (Private) Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in the past 12 months.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on DentCare.pk, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Elixirnet (Private) Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karachi, Pakistan.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
