PMDC Compliance
Last updated: May 2026
1. About PMDC / PMC
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), now reconstituted as the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) under the Pakistan Medical Commission Act 2020, is the statutory body responsible for regulating medical and dental education and practice in Pakistan. All dental practitioners in Pakistan are legally required to be registered with the PMC to practice dentistry.
DentCare.pk operates in full compliance with PMC regulations and verifies every dentist on our platform against the official PMC register before approving their account.
2. Dentist Verification Process
Every dentist applying to join DentCare.pk must complete our multi-step verification process:
PMC Registration Number
Dentists must provide their valid PMC registration number, which is cross-checked against the PMC register.
Degree Certificate
A verified copy of the dental degree (BDS or specialist qualification) from a PMC-recognized institution must be submitted.
Professional Documents
Additional certificates, experience letters, and specialization documents are reviewed by our compliance team.
Admin Approval
Our team manually reviews and approves each dentist profile before it goes live on the platform.
Ongoing Compliance
Registered dentists are subject to periodic re-verification and may be suspended if their PMC registration lapses.
